A&WMA 110th Annual Conference

Thank you for joining us in Pittsburgh at the A&WMA 110th Annual Conference this month. We loved engaging with such a diverse group of researchers, government agencies, and consultants. And we even managed to explore the beautiful city of Pittsburgh and its many rivers and bridges.

This conference examined how leaders in industry, government, academia, and non-governmental citizen groups can work together to improve community health and protect the environment. We’re thankful to be part of it and will look forward to seeing you there next year.

We have a busy schedule of conferences coming up this Fall. We’d love to connect with you in the future so please check back soon to see our schedule of events.

A&WMA Visibility Conference & AAAR Conference

It has been a busy month for us here at ARA Instruments. We headed out on the road and were privileged to be a part of two amazing conferences:

A&WMA’s Aerosols, Visibility, and Radiative Balance Conference
September 27-30, 2016 – Jackson, Wyoming

This conference was held in beautiful Jackson, Wyoming, minutes from Grand Teton National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed experiencing such a beautiful area while engaging with such a diverse group of researchers from all over the world.

This international conference provided a technical forum on advances in the scientific understanding of the effects of aerosols on urban, regional, continental, and global-scale haze and the radiative balance. The conference took a multi-pronged approach by encouraging scientific submissions (e.g., related to measurements, modeling, etc.) as well as submissions addressing regulatory and policy issues.

AAAR Conference
October 17-21, 2016 – Portland, Oregon

Thank you for coming out and seeing us in our home state of Oregon. We hope you all enjoyed visiting Portland for the AAAR Conference as much as we did. This conference provided an outstanding venue for sharing the latest aerosol science and technology research progress.
